It's Fall Break for my girls, and I took the day
off work today (Friday.) We are headed to my Granny's house for another
weekend of Fall fun. I loved the look earlier this week when I paired a
black maxi dress, check out my post A Chill is in the Air!, with a few Fall-ish accessories to get a really warm and
cozy look that is perfect for October. I thought I would try out my favorite
maxi dress of the summer. This is a Ralph Lauren maxi dress from TJ Maxx.
I paired it with a belt, boots, and a wine colored cardigan. I think I
actually like this better as a fall look than a summer one. This maxi dress
literally clings to every bulge curve, but I like
having the cardigan and belt to hide a little more of the extra curves. This
bracelet is from Good Works and it's covered with powerful words and phrases. I like this
company because they send a positive message to girls to love and respect themselves. I also bought my daughter a bracelet
with a bible verse from the same company. I feel like it is a great way to
empower women of all ages.
Life is too short, and I'm Italian. I'd much rather eat pasta and drink wine than be a size 0. ~ Sophia Bush
