I awoke to a slight chill in the air
this morning. I love a nice chilly fall morning and I can honestly say
that I have NEVER paired these items together before, but I am loving it. I
pretty much considered this a "Summer" dress. It's just your basic
black racerback Maxi dress from TJ Maxx. I like that this dress is pretty thin,
so even when paired with this long sleeve cardigan I am not having cardigan commitment
issues. Cardigan commitment issues are something that I think all women
have all dealt with a time or two. It happens when you wear a sleeveless garment
under a cardigan with no intention of removing the cardigan. Then about
half-way through the day you realize that your about to pass out from heat
exhaustion, but you didn't have the foresight to plan ahead and wear appropriate
(in this case racerback bra) undergarments so you are just stuck literally
sweating it out or letting it all hang out (bra straps). I like to try to keep
it pretty professional, so the bra straps just are not an option
for me. But all that to say that I my selections have been perfect for the
chilly mid 50s morning to the low 70s afternoon. Again, I think playing
favorites is okay,when it comes to my obsession for yellow and fall!
