Teal Green with Envy

I have never really worn ankle pants or colored pants prior to the last two months.  I have always typically stuck with the standard boot-cut trousers for work. But thanks to some inspiration/envy to be more "fashion forward" from Audrey at Putting Me Together blog, I am now branching out.  She always talks about the "power of a colored pant." I am trying to embrace color and a new fit. These pants are a great find at Target and fit really nicely without any of the dreaded muffin top issues.  They are the appropriate length for me, and I am only 5'2" and they come in about a zillion colors. The only negatives are that they do not seem to wash very well. They seem to fade, but they are super comfy and they do seem to work with lots of different looks. The camisole I have had for years and I think it came from NY&Co. That is one of my all-time favorite stores.  The shoes are RSVP, and I need to take them to repair the heels, but they are my most comfortable pair of navy heels. This cardigan has a really cute crochet see through back.  I have it in a mustard color too, and I love a short sleeve cardigan this time of year.
