Olive a Hot Trend...

Olive a Hot Trend... Get it? I love a Hot Trend. I know the title is a bit of a stretch, but olive green isn't exactly an easy play on words. The olive green utility/military jacket is EVERYWHERE.  I have had this jacket stuffed in the back of my closet for a long time, but I like the idea of this look.  I'm not real sure that I am cool enough to pull it off, but my puppy Archie (short for Archibald McDouglesnaps Hunt see picture below and at some point I will explain why I think all animals should have middle names, but that is a story for later) had no complaints as he laid in my home office drifting in and out of sleep all day. After dragging this jacket back into the front on my jacket section I think it will work nicely with several different items in my closet as a great fall layer.  I am not real sure about the wide belt.  I might try a skinny belt the next time I put these items together.  These are actually my boyfriend jeans with the legs unrolled.  The heels are Latitude Femme. It is an Italian shoe brand that is the real deal! these shoes are super comfy, real leather, real snake skin, and the best part is they came from TJ Maxx, so I got them for a REAL steal. 

My style is definitely not ladylike - frills and bows kinda scare me - but I like the military look because I love that olive green khaki color. ~ Cameron Russell
