19/30 - 30 x 30 Challenge - Fall Capsule Wardrobe

Sorry guys!  This are scheduled post for this next week as I will be traveling for business.  I am going to post my 30x30 outfit selections, and then when I get home I will create a Suitcase Confessions - Houston Meeting post that actually details what I took for my trip.  My boss told me to "over pack" so I am doing just that.  Hope everyone has a great week!

9/30 - 30 x 30 Challenge - Fall Capsule Wardrobe

Blah, blah, blah! I have a case of the blahs today.  I am headed to Opryland Hotel to meet my parents and take the girls to look at Christmas lights. Then I am headed to my Granny's tonight to watch my nephews who are in town for a bit. I thought this outfit made for an easy day to night transition. I am confident that these pieces will be going in my suitcase later this month.  This outfit easily transitions with a few changes - like comfy boots and tights for cooler evening weather.  

I usually crop my head off my images. Why?  Well, I don't always fix my make-up like today, but really I am not sure what to do with my hair most days and looking at myself on the compter I feel less judgemental when I am an anonymous body vs. looking at a picture of my smiling face staring back at me.  I have very short hair, but I tried to put it in a little french roll in the back. Thoughts?  Suggestions?

I am thankful for my Granny.  She is an absolutely wonderful woman. She is an amazing cook and just an all around spectactular lady.  Going to her house in the country is like a breath of fresh air everytime. When I need to rejuvenate myself and truly relax I head to my Granny's.

4/30 - 30 x 30 Challenge - Fall Capsule Wardrobe

Day 4 and this is a lot harder than I thought.  Not putting the outfits together or only choosing from the 30ish pieces that I chose, but it is harder than I thought to not wear other items.  It is like I have to catch myself from choosing from everything in my closet. Also a big thank you to everyone! My first month of blogging brought over 5,000 visitors and more than 1,200 pins on Pinterest.  Thank you all so much for sharing my blog and following me on this journey.  One month down and only 5 more to go!

I am thankful for my oldest daughter Addie! She is amazing and funny.  She keeps me laughing and she loves to climb-up in my lap and give me hugs and kisses.  She is my little helper, my snuggle bug, and I don't know what I would do without her.

Bubblegum Basics

Pink is probably my least favorite color EVER.  I have a few things that are pink, and I wear it occasionally now, but I'm not a huge fan.  I have had this cardigan for about 7 or 8 years.  I do love this particular black dress, because it has pockets.  I don't why, but I love a dress with pockets. This look is pretty basic. I like to wear boots in the Fall especially when it’s raining - I hate wet feet. I did try to spice it up a little with a leopard skinny belt. I've never really worn skinny belts like this, but I'm trying to branch out. Not sure that I succeeded with this one. 

I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong.
