Nursery Sunday

I had to keep the nursery at Church this past Sunday. I will be the first to say that I do not always enjoy the craziness of a room full of 3 year olds, but I survived. It was a really special Sunday as it was my oldest Daughter's first time to take the Lord's Supper. I am ready for the next few days because I leave for Denver soon for a little Hockey Trip with the Hubby.

Today was a great day at Church. My husband was ordained as a deacon at Church tonight and I am so proud of the spiritual household leader that he is for both myself and our girls. I really like this dress and I think it is currently on sale for about $30 dollars. It comes in blush and navy. This is the kind of dress that can be worn any season with the right accessories.

We are headed to the Smokey Mountains this weekend and I am trying out my new under seat carry-on luggage. The name of the game this weekend is COMFORT. We are going with another family that also has 2 girls so just the 8 of us are headed to a cabin in the Smokies for a couple nights. Our only plans consists of a dip in the hot tub, games, and a little karaoke. So only comfy basic clothes are needed. In addition to what you see I packed a swimsuit, flip flops, pajamas, and toiletries.

This is the last day of "Here We Go Again" and I am ready for the mountains this weekend. It's cold and my oldest has been home sick all week. She is feeling better, but I kept her home just to be safe today. Now all the schools around us are closing or opening late tomorrow and I am not sure if it is worth sending her back this week. Here We Go Again: Black Heels

We have the sickness in our house. My oldest woke-up with aches, pains, and a 103 fever. I will be nursing her today, while I work and remembering how thankful I am to have flexibility in a day like today so that I can attempt to accomplish my job as both a Mom and be a good employee too. Let's hope she is the only victim in our household and that we are all better by the weekend. Fingers crossed!!!

But back to the outfit. I kinda love this outfit, it makes me happy. I like the stripes and purple mixed together and this belt from H&M may be one of my favorite purchases of the last year. It goes with everything!!
